Or the little red treat bursting with freshness from our young Merlot vines.

“Glouglou,” “Vin de copains,” “Petit canon” … There’s no shortage of words to describe the character of this fruity cuvée. La Candeur embodies this epicurean pleasure from the moment you open it. Intense on the nose, with aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry, and red berries. The palate retains plenty of freshness, with a bold, indulgent flavor and very few tannins.

A thirst-quenching Merlot for any occasion, all year round! From aperitifs to barbecues, every social gathering is the perfect time to open a bottle of La Candeur. A little tip: serve it chilled at around 13–15°C and savor the moment!

L’Audace

Cabernet Sauvignon on limestone

Or the expression of sincere, delicate fruit, well-balanced, reflecting our small Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on limestone, aged in natural Sichuan stoneware amphorae.

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, full of finesse and balance, offers pure fruit with a lovely chalky freshness. The magic lies in how this cuvée conveys the terroir. It is fresh, easy to drink, approachable, and elegant, allowing the taster to enjoy it without feeling overwhelmed. The delicate winemaking process and the amphora also lend a certain texture that helps make this grape variety accessible, clear, and elegant, even though it can sometimes remain enigmatic in its youth.

A versatile wine, perfect from aperitif through the meal. It pairs beautifully with the spices of world cuisine, particularly Asian and Japanese flavors, which complement the purity of a mature Cabernet Sauvignon. Take, for example, duck marinated in “Moromi Zukeyaki” soy sauce, served with baby vegetables and kinzanji miso.

La Générosité

Black Merlot on clay soil

Or, an expression of intense fruit-driven pleasure from our old Merlot vines grown on clay soils, aged in natural clay amphorae!

Fruit and intensity. A luminous, rich, and aromatic cuvée, a true reflection of its clay-rich terroir. When we prune this plot of old vines in the rain, the clay sticks to our boots, with a thick texture. This richness is evident on the palate, along with the luscious fruit. It literally “fills your mouth.”

This dense, rich body—both smooth and indulgent—calls for two scenarios. Either savor this great wine on its own for its fruit, with a select group of friends, or pair it with a fine meal featuring flavorful dishes that complement the Merlot noir’s pleasant, round, and velvety texture. Since game has largely disappeared from our tables, let’s serve small lamb chops seared quickly over a vine-branch fire, accompanied by baby potatoes seasoned with Salies-de-Béarn salt.

Or the quest for a sincere emotional experience crafted from our finest Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, aged in amphorae and barrels.

L’Idéal embodies what we do best in the history of Bordeaux: blending exquisite lots to achieve a superior, balanced expression while capturing the complexity of our terroir. Velvety fruit is highlighted by subtle acidity and characteristic freshness, with a delightful finish.

Traditionally, one might wait for a milestone or a special occasion to decide to open a bottle of L’Idéal. Yet now is precisely the time to be disruptive and think outside the box—to appreciate L’Idéal as a meditation wine, enjoyed for its own sake. An Idéal is a moment of respite that allows us to take the time to savor and reflect on our own personal “Ideal.”
